Hi everyone – This is advance notice of an exciting addition to our Uxbridge Studio Tour offerings this year. We are hosting local artist Ken Nice who will have a display of his sculpture and paintings. As well we are hosting Pueblo – an exciting performance by Diana Lopez Soto and her company Draught Horse Productions. She has scheduled performances on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings and we can guarantee it will be an exciting and engaging evening’s entertainment. Works by Holly McClellan, Nicholas Tinkl, Tricia Dunk Tinkl. Stylisticallydifferent, everyone’s work is influenced by prominent topics in the media, consumerism and advertising. The artists study and respond photographically, using accessible source material. Commercial and fine art approaches are used, often merging analog and digital technologies. Through the unique rural Gallery setting, the exhibition dialogue extends and offers an exchange between photography and other art forms such as fibre art and sculpture.

Installations of textile and quilt works including an installation for the third floor loft space. Judith Tinkl is a fibre artist, with a wide exhibition history in Canada and internationally. She is an active member of the Textile Museum in Toronto and has been teaching at OCAD for many years. Her work is inspired by nature, geometry, colour and traditional textiles.
